Ms. Atressa Burleson

Hello Stallion Family!!!  My name is Atressa Burleson and I am a graduate of Onslow County Schools.  I went to three different high schools across the globe but graduated from Dixon High School.

 I was accepted into the North Carolina Teaching Fellows Program and studied all four years at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.

I graduated with a Bachelors in Middle Grades Education with a concentration in Mathematics and Language Arts.

I began my Administration career in the 2023-2024 school year at Trexler Middle School and completed my Masters of School Administration from East Carolina University.

I have been in education since 2000 and the majority of my career has been in Onslow County Schools.  I have taught at Jacksonville Commons Middle School, Northside High School, and New Bridge Middle School.  I have coached softball, cheerleading, and football. 

I believe that communication and positive relationships will be key to a successful school year.  Go Stallions!!!
