Ms. Hannah Hill

Hello! My name is Hannah Hill, and I am excited to be a member of the Southwest High School Stallion family! As an Onslow County native, I am passionate about serving the students, staff, and families of the community that has given so much to me.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in History and 6–9 Social Studies licensure from Meredith College in Raleigh. After graduating, I returned home to begin my career in education and have proudly served Onslow County Schools ever since. I also earned a Master of Arts in History from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and a Master of School Administration from East Carolina University in 2024. I am currently pursuing a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of North Carolina Wilmington.

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to serve in a variety of roles, including:

  • Social Studies, English Language Arts, and AVID Teacher – Hunters Creek Middle School (2013–2021)
  • K–12 Social Studies Content Coordinator – Onslow County Schools (2021–2023)
  • Assistant Principal – Southwest Middle School (2023–2024)

Outside of school, I enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends while cheering on Alabama football and UNC Tar Heels basketball.

As an assistant principal at Southwest High School, my goal is to serve with integrity, support both students and staff, and help foster a positive, student-centered learning environment where everyone can thrive. I am honored to be part of the Stallion family and look forward to an outstanding school year!
